Zoran Predin wrote new songs in the English language.
Lyrics are brimming with black humour, love and a certain new poetics, bringing Zoran's melodies closer to the new global ears on the wings of the most popular world language. It is a great pleasure and honour to inform you that the programme committee and direction of the regional music award INDEXI ´09 have decided that in the category SPECIAL AND HONOUR AWARDS the Award for Global Contributions to Music goes to the esteemed musician Zoran Predin for the 30th anniversary of his musical endeavours.
 
We would also like to let you know that the INDEXI 09 event is going to take place on 4 June 2009.

Check the atmosphere on the first St. Valentine's day concerte in Cankarjev dom - 8.2.2009

On 1 December 2008, Zoran presented his new album entitled "Inventura" ("Inventory") in the legendary Boško Petrović Jazz Club in Zagreb. The lyrics in the Croatian language were written by Zoran himself, and he also sung them himself for the first time. The first hit of the album is "Ni sekunde više" ("Not a Second Longer"), already listed high in the Croatian popular song charts. Zoran also presented the new video for the song "Ispod naše sretne zvijezde" ("Under a Lucky Star"), created by Rok Predin. You can also see this video on the English version of our website.

In agreement with the Dallas Records company, the Sarajevo record company Hayat Production released Zoran Predin's "Za šaku ljubavi" (For a Handful of Love), one of his best albums in accordance to the Croatian music critics.

After the fourth nomination, Zoran Predin has received the Viktor Popularity Award. Zoran intends to celebrate it with his band and guests at a concert entitled "All-purpose Lover", taking place on 19 April in Kranj. The drummer Gašper Bertoncelj will fly home directly from New York, while the trumpet player Izidor Leitinger will arrive from Paris. The backing vocalists Deep-throated Doves are flying in from Maribor directly through the Tuhinjska dolina valley.

Zoran and his Gypsy Swing Band created an outstanding atmosphere in the Regensburg Jazz Club. Zoran captured the German audience with witty announcements and songs he sung in Slovenian, English, French and German. The various musical styles are an excellent ground for the top notch band, accompanying Zoran at his concerts, to build their performance on – from "Firehand" Bezget to the dream timing of the drummer Gašper Bertoncelj.
