ABOUT ARTBIRO

In November 2007, we established Artbiro d.o.o. - Agency for Organisation, Production and Counselling, whose basic activity is artistic production. Artbiro became active on 1 January 2008 and has already concluded severl successful projects – a tour of Gypsy Swing with an audience of, altogether, around 6300 people at 12 concerts (from 7 February to 6 March). The second project was the artistic outline of the "Ozvezdje NLB" evening, which took place on 18 March 2008 in the Cankarjev dom cultural centre.

Artbiro produced the Slovenian language album by Zoran Predin "Pod srečno zvezdo" (Under a Lucky Star) and the Croatian language album "Inventura" (Inventory). The English language album is in preparation.

In February we organised three big concerts by Zoran Predin in the Cankarjev dom cultural and congress centre (Rock Evening, Ethno Evening and Gypsy Swing Evening).

In March, in cooperation with "Tvornica kulture" from Zagreb, we carried out a Croatian tour of Zoran Predin and The Gypsy Swing Band (Pazin, Zadar, Rijeka, Varaždin and Zagreb).

We also organised concerts in Novi Sad and Belgrade. In May we are going to organise concerts in Sarajevo and Banja Luka.

We supported the children's performance Rosemary the Cow as donors and took part in its post production.

The theatre performance "Sahib – Depression Impressions", written by N. Veličković, directed by Ivana Djilas and coproduced by the Cankarjev dom cultural and congress centre, is our first independent theatre project. The performance opened on 11 March 2009 in the Štih Hall in the Cankarjev dom cultural centre.
